Jacob Roorda

• Title: Assistant to the Director

Jacob Roorda is currently serving as director of bands and general music for Fowler Public Schools in Fowler, MI where he teaches kindergarten through 4th grade general music, three middle school bands, and the high school band. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education from Western Michigan University where he studied tuba with Dr. Jacob Cameron. When not teaching or planning what he will be teaching next, Jake enjoys listening to records from his collection and browsing vintage furniture shops to feed his mid-century modern obsession.
