Krista Hagglund, harp

• Title: Assistant to the Director

K rista Hagglund is a harpist, teacher, and administrator who is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Harp Performance from Baylor University. In 2022 she graduated from Bob Jones University with Bachelor of Music degrees in Harp Performance and Piano Pedagogy. Passionate about music education, Krista has worked with Rubato Music Studio as an administrator and teacher. As a winner of the BJU Concerto & Aria Competition, she performed Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro with BJU Symphony Orchestra. She has also served as president of the BJU Music Teachers National Association Collegiate Chapter. In 2023 she joined the InterHarmony International Music Festival as Assistant to the Director. She is involved with arts administration, concert organization, and more. Currently she maintains an active freelance career performing across Texas at various concerts and events. When she’s not in the practice room she enjoys baking and working as a barista.
