    Eleonora Gabutti, Italian for Singers

    Eleonora Gabutti was appointed as professor at the G. Bottino Music School in Acqui Terme teaching violin, viola, chamber music, and music theory in both Italian and English this Fall. Upon graduating from the "G. Parodi" institute in Acqui Terme with a high school diploma in linguistics (100 cum laude), passing European C1 level certifications in English, Ms. Gabutti as regularly given private lessons in Italian, English, French and Spanish grammar and literature to students of all levels.

    Ms. Gabutti began studying violin at the age of 10 at the "G. Bottino" music school in Acqui Terme, under the guidance of Chiara Giacobbe and Diana Tizzani. Since 2021 Ms. Gabutti has been attending the "F. Vittadini" Conservatory of Pavia in the class of Prof. Luca Torciani, and at which took part in violin masterclasses by Vittorio Marchese and chamber music masterclasses by Simonide Braconi and the Debussy Trio. Ms. Gabutti took part in masterclasses in baroque performance practice by Luca Franco Ferrari, Daniela Nuzzoli, Mario Stefano Tonda and Mirko Guadagnini. At master classes held as part of the lnterHarmony Festival, Ms. Gabutti was a student of Misha Quint, Ray Chou-Chang, Diana Seitz, Gert Kumi, and Kevin Lefohn, and attended chamber music courses held by Gert Kumi, Chunsung Kim, Teresa de Jong-Pombo, and Daniel Lessner.

    Ms. Gabutti holds diplomas in music theory and violin from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and has participated in the lnterHarmony International Music Festival in Acqui Terme as an orchestral player since 2018 under the direction of Gerard Karsten, Christian Vasquez, Oliver Weder and Myles Nardinger and with soloists such as Misha Quint and Guy Braunstein (former concertmaster of the Berlin Philharmonic).

    In 2021 Ms. Gabutti formed the Duo Halvorsen with Alberto Castracane, whose repertoire ranges from J.M. Leclair, C.A. de Beriot to S. Prokofiev and L. Berio.
